Ah, the glories of Autumn - which incidentally, is my name! I am a beautiful 10-pound, 6-year old female Pomeranian. I was rescued from one of those horrid puppy mills, so for the first time in 6 years, I get to breathe clean air, get lots of healthy food, and am learning to really like attention from my human foster family. My life of having puppies is over; my new life will be as a companion to someone who will be patient as I learn to trust. I've come a very long way and get very excited when my humans pet me and hold me in their lap - I do love being beside you on the couch. I do very well with other dogs although I know nothing about playing with either them or toys yet. I love going outside in a fenced yard and nosing around. Life is AWESOME now! While in the puppy mill, dogs are not socialized or medically cared for. SBRET is seeing to it that I am learning how much fun having kind attention is and has seen to it that I have had all those shots and pills I need to be healthy.
I have just been spayed, microchipped, and had a dental cleaning. I will be available for adoption in early December to the right family and I can't wait for the next days in my new life. I will probably be best with another well-adjusted dog buddy and a secure fenced yard as I continue to learn about life outside the cage! My adoption fee is $175.
