My name is Babbett. I’m a pretty little girl that may be Yorkie, Chihuahua with a dash of Maltese in there, but who knows. I weigh 6½ pounds and I’m about 10 years old. I’m white but my fur is sparse and discolored on my back end, probably from the very bad infestation of fleas I had when I was rescued. My hair is growing back!! I came to rescue with two very large bladder stones and a hernia. I had emergency surgery to remove the stones and repair the hernia and then I was spayed. And I just want you to know that I feel so much better! I recently had a dental and lost my last two canines and several other teeth, but I have no trouble eating my kibble. My bladder stones were sent off to a lab for analysis - based on the lab analysis results, I’ll need to continue eating my special prescription kibble, Royal Canin Urinary SO, but that’s ok with me, because I just love it!!
I’m doing great with my house training and at night I sleep in my crate next to my foster mom’s bed. I walk great on a leash. I have a pretty big bark and I’m not afraid to use it! I don’t care who hears me so if you live in an apartment, I’m not the girl to live next to your neighbors.
I get along great with the other little dogs here and unless the cat gets really excited, I don’t pay much attention to her. I’m looking for a home that doesn’t have little kids that might run and jump because I will bark and bark at them. I would love to have a quiet home where I can just hang with you and live the rest of our days together. If you like to travel I’m good with that too! I’m up to date with my vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. My adoption fee is $100. If you would like to have a little fluffy come live with you, give my friends at SBRET a holler!
