Meet Bailey, a 4 pound, 14 year old precious, funny, and petite Chihuahua looking for a warm lap. She is so happy to be held and carried everywhere. Car rides are no problem for this senior, she has been going to work with her foster mom every day since coming to our rescue.

She is a warrior, a survivor of Hurricane Ivan, who made her way to Tennessee. After years in a home, a small mishap with her families' grandchild got her a trip to a local shelter. A volunteer at the shelter contacted Small Breed Rescue and here she is looking for her new home.

What we know about this warrior is she is about 14 years old, spayed, with vaccinations up to date and heartworm negative, her general health is good, as with most small dogs she has some issues with her knees but nothing that would interfere with her having a quality life. She only has four remaining teeth but has no problem eating! At her foster home she gets along well with the other dogs and even the two much bigger than her cats.

She is for the most part a sweet and loving senior girl that would prefer a home body. She sometimes does not want to be bothered or picked up when she is sleeping and may snap so she needs an adult only home. She is very good at using pee pads and also will go outside. She would love to sleep in your bed or will happily sleep in her own bed in the floor.

Can you open your heart to this senior cuddle baby? Bailey's adoption fee is sponsored.
