Chester is a 6.5-pound, 9 to 10-year-old neutered male Chihuahua mix. Chester loves his humans and his comforts! His perfect life would be next to his people wrapped in a soft blanket. Chester does not have any teeth but that does not stop him from eating all of his dry kibble. Chester gets along well with other dogs although he is not interested in playing with them and would be fine as an only dog.
Chester walks well on a leash and does well with house training when he is taken out during the day. Chester would not be a good fit for an apartment or a condo as he tends to bark at noises outside, although he does not seem to do that in his foster home (which is a stand-alone house). At night, Chester sleeps quietly in a crate beside his foster mom's bed, but he would love to be in bed snuggling with his humans. Chester needs an adult home or one with children over 8 years old.
Chester is neutered and microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines, flea and tick prevention and heartworm prevention as well. If you are looking for a snuggle buddy, contact SBRET and ask for Chester! His adoption fee is $100.
