You might remember me, I am the seriously sweet and cute mini male Golden Retriever look-alike named Dakota. I weigh 11 pounds and best guess is that I am a Pomeranian-Doxie mix. I was adopted by a wonderful family who had a young 2-year-old dog like me. I loved playing with her and taking her toys but I don't think she liked it so very much after a while. The nice family really wanted it to work out but their dog wasn't so sure. My foster mom's dog, however, gives me the "lip curl" correction when I step out of line with her and I pay attention!
I am sweet, smart, affectionate and playful. I'm great with children (6 and over), love to go after balls, explore a fenced yard, social with other dogs and people, love toys and bones. My dream forever home would have a fenced yard, someone home a fair amount, and another dog to play with.
My house training is really good although, in a new situation, it will take me a few days to adjust. I might still have an occasional accident but my people need to do their part and get me outside to potty. I sleep nicely in a crate at night. I am neutered, up to date on all my annual shots as well as on the all important heartworm and flea/tick preventative. My adoption fee is $175.
