Hello, my name is Gus. I'm about 9 years old, male, and weigh almost 7 pounds. I am a Chihuahua with beautiful markings and pretty white socks. Through no fault of my own I was returned to SBRET and now I'm looking for my forever home.

I'm ok with the other little dogs but I'm not really used to living with furry friends so it's been a bit of an adjustment in my foster home. Usually what I do is growl when they get too close, especially near my dinner. It’s not really a requirement that I have a furry friend in my new home unless they are super laid back and aren't looking for a snuggle buddy. If you have a cat, I'm ok with them, I just do a quick sniff and then I'm on my way. I’m kind of a nervous little guy and I would be best in an all-adult home. Little kids would terrify me!

I love to be close to my foster mom and love being with her while she watches TV. I'm a pretty good eater and enjoy my kibble. I walk great on a leash and I’m good about my house training and I’ll give a “look” when I need to go outside. I sleep in my crate at night and go to my bed when my foster mom tells me to. I’m really a very nice little boy.

I’m neutered, up to date with my vaccinations, on heartworm prevention, had a dental, and I’m ready to go to my lifelong home. My adoption fee is $100.
