My name is Honey and I'm as sweet as my name! I'm a 10-year-old female Yorkie mix. I weigh almost 9 lbs. Before being at the local shelter where the Small Breed Rescue family found me, I had been out on my own trying to find shelter and food. Once I was mistaken for a raccoon in someone's garage and was trapped in a cage but that turned out to be a good thing since that nice person took me to the animal shelter so that I could be rescued.

The first week in my foster home I slept all the time - I was so relieved to finally feel safe and have all the dog food I wanted. My back had to be shaved since I had some skin issues due to fleas, but I'm better now and my hair is growing back. I walk on a leash and go outside to potty. I will also go on training pads. I like to sleep curled up on the couch under a blanket but I also will sleep in a crate. I like other dogs and I ride well in a car. I don't ever bark unless someone rings a door bell. I have not been around young children so a home with children over 12 years old would be best for me.

If you are looking for some sweetness in your life, please consider adopting me. I'm up to date on my shots, heartworm negative, spayed and microchipped. My adoption fee is $100.
