My name is Jack, sometimes Jackie-Jack or Jack-Jack. My foster mom just loves saying my name and when she does, my tail just gets to waggin’. I'm a compact little Chihuahua guy that weighs just less than 6 pounds and I’m about 10 years old. I've been a little shy but I’m very willing to let you pick me up.
I've learned to sleep in a crate at night in my foster mom's bedroom. I'm usually pretty quiet but sometimes I'll cry a little bit but I will hush when my foster mom tells me to. I get along just fine with the other little dogs here at my foster home. I'm quite fascinated by the cats that live here and interested in meeting them, and so far I've been very polite. I'm learning not to potty in the house and during my house training, I've been wearing a belly band. It's a wrap around my belly that prevents me from marking in the house. I'm learning to walk on a leash and I will continue to practice so I get real good at it.
I've got a microchip, been neutered, had my teeth cleaned, gotten all of my vaccinations, and I am heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Because I’m a senior, my adoption fee is $100. Please call my friends at SBRET sooner than later and tell them you want that sweet boyfriend Jackie-Jack to come live with you!
