My name is Jasmine. I am an 8-year old female Yorkie and weigh about 8½ pounds. I was dropped off at a shelter and I was scared to death. I was dirty, tired and basically had given up on ever having a normal life. I was in pretty rough shape with lots of missing hair and covered with fleas. The people who had me used me for only one reason - they sold my babies and only cared about me as a way of making money. One by one, I had to watch my puppies get pulled away from me. I was used over and over until I just wasn't any use to them anymore. Thankfully I was taken to a shelter and left with people who knew who to call - Small Breed Rescue of East Tennessee!

Now, I love to go on car rides, walk on grass, sleep on a soft bed and eat good food. I walk well on a leash but would really like to have a fenced-in yard. I am just a little behind on my potty training but I am getting better at hitting those pee pad things my foster mom is always talking to me about. The only other thing I need to tell you about me is I have a bad left eye that I take medicine for (eye drops), but I may have to have it removed if it doesn't get better. Other than that, I am healthy, happy and am looking forward to finding my forever home.

I have been spayed, microchipped, and am up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm and flea preventatives. Please take a look at my pictures and let me know what you think. My adoption fee is $175 and I am well worth it!
