Jenni is a 5 year old Maltese mix female who weighs around 7 lbs. Jenni (Tookey) has once again found herself back with Small Breed Rescue because her adopter's living situation will soon be changing. Jenni originally came from a hoarding situation, but has spent the last year living in a home learning what it means to be a loved pet.

Hoarding situations can take a toll on fur babies and she spent 4 years in that horrible environment. Jenni has improved immensely with her house training, enjoys playing fetch, and absolutely thrives running about in a fenced yard or dog park. Jenni is still extremely nervous in new situations and it can be difficult to randomly pick her up. Once in your lap she loves the attention and will sit there enjoying the touch of human kindness. Jenni will need to find a quiet forever home without children and has the patience to continue to work with her socialization or just understand that Jenni may have reached potential with trust.

We are currently trying a course of antibiotics to see if it helps with Jenni's tear staining. If it does not we will do some further testing to see if we can help her with this since it is not just cosmetic but can also irritate the skin.

If you think you can provide this sweet beautiful girl a safe haven of love - please contact SBRET to meet this wonderful girl! Jenni, like all other fosters in rescue, is completely vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and on monthly heart worm prevention. Her adoption fee is $175.
