My name is Jill. I am a 9-month-old, 8-pound female Chihuahua mix. I am an elegant looking little girl with soft brown eyes. I was adopted from a local shelter by an elderly person who could not handle my active lifestyle. So sadly I found myself back at the shelter but luckily they called SBRET to rescue me! I am a high energy girl that needs an active home that will play with me or take me on long walks. I am skittish with new people at first but warm up quickly. I haven’t been around kids yet but hope to meet some soon to see how I do. I would love a fenced yard to play in but it’s not a must if you are willing to exercise me daily. I’m doing pretty good with house training as long as you get me outside regularly. The other dogs in my foster home are not very fun since they are kind of lazy. I need a playful dog or no other dogs since I tend to get on their nerves trying to play with them. I am quite the “guard dog” alerting you if there is anything outside that may threaten us - like a butterfly, a car driving by or someone at the door. So I would not be a good fit for an apartment. The cat at my foster home doesn’t care for me much either since I want to play with her and if she runs that’s even better! So probably no kitties for me. Someone home part of the day will help me get this house training down just right and some of my playful energy out! My adoption fee is $175.
