Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.

Hey everyone, I'm Kelly. I'm a member of the Fab Five! Who are the Fab Five? We are a litter of 9-week-old Dachshund mix puppies. At almost 10 pounds, I am the biggest of the group, and without a doubt the leader of the pack! I am curious, fearless, and the first one to explore new things. My siblings watch to see what I'm going to do and then follow along. Sometimes it's a good thing, like learning to go outside to potty in the grass instead of on the blue pads. Sometimes not so good, but I'm a puppy and it's kind of my job to get into a little bit of trouble! I eat dry puppy kibble, and sleep all night in my indoor puppy pen. When I need to potty, I use the blue potty pads that are in my pen at night. When I'm running around in the house, I will look for a pad to potty if I need to. But I am a big puppy, and I don't want to potty in the house! I am working hard on remembering to go potty outside. I am doing pretty good, but since this is new to me and I am a puppy, I will need someone at home at least part of the day to continue my outdoor potty training.

I am a high energy girl! I love nothing more than to zoom zoom around the backyard chasing and then tackling my sibs! I need a home with either another dog my size and who is also playful, or people who live an active life. And let's talk about my size for a minute. At 9 weeks old and almost 10 pounds, I could easily grow into a 30 pound dog. My mama was a Dachshund mix and about 18 pounds, so I'm going to be a medium-sized girl. I am going to need a lot of exercise to burn off all of this puppy energy! I would be a great running dog or hiking dog if that's what you do. I am also a cuddly sweet little girl and when it's nap time, I either look for my siblings to curl up with, or even better a lap to nap in. I like to lay my head on my foster mom's shoulder and put my arms around her neck. She says it's the sweetest thing ever! So if you think a playful, funny, high energy girl would be a good fit for you, I would love to meet you! My adoption fee is $175.
