Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.
Hey everyone, I'm Lake. I'm a member of the Fab Five! Who are the Fab Five? We are a litter of 9-week-old Dachshund mix puppies. I weigh 6.5 pounds, and my foster mom calls me baby bear, because I am just right! I'm not high energy, but I'm not real quiet either. I can almost keep up with my big sister when we play, but when it's time to stop playing and come back in the house, I come right back in and settle in for my nap. I listen closely to what I am told, and I mind very well. Don't tell the others, but my foster mom says I'm the smartest one of our bunch. Not that the others aren't smart, but I pay attention better and seem to pick things up a little more quickly. I have a shiny black coat with some very pretty brindle markings on my feet. I like my dry puppy kibble, and I sleep all night in my puppy pen. When I need to potty, I use the blue potty pads that are in my indoor pen at night. When I'm running around in the house, I will look for a pad to potty if I need to. But I am a big puppy, and I don't want to potty in the house! I am working hard on remembering to go potty outside. I am doing pretty good, but since this is new to me and I am a puppy, I will need someone at home at least part of the day to continue my outdoor potty training. I'm a friendly little girl, and would love to meet you so come on by one of our adoption events and say Hi! My adoption fee is $175.
