Hi everyone, I would like you to meet Lark. Lark is a 10-week-old, 5-pound, beautiful Shih Tzu mix girl. Nope, she doesn't look one bit like a Shih Tzu, except for her cute little under bite! She is a smart, very playful little girl. She is also a very sweet and affectionate girl who loves to snuggle in my lap for nap time once she has had a chance to run, run, run and play. She needs a fenced yard for playing and exercise! Did I mention she's smart? When I talk to her, she looks at me and listens to everything I say. Of course, she is a puppy so she doesn't understand most of it, but she tries!
She's doing well with her potty training, but she is a puppy and still has accidents in the house, so she will need someone home who can continue to work with her. She loves being outside and exploring the fenced backyard and will wander around as long as I let her. She eats her dry puppy food, and she sleeps all night in her indoor ex-pen. She is not so crazy about her travel crate and right now doesn't like being in the car. She will cry and scratch at the crate door to let me know she is not happy with me. It's her way of saying "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?"
Her mom was a 10-pound, blond-haired Yorkie/Shih Tzu looking girl, but Lark must have her daddy's good looks so it's hard to guess how big she is going to be. I do know she is going to be a beautiful adult dog!
Lark loves having a playful dog companion and needs one in her forever home. She will need an active family as this girl has stuff to do! So if you're looking for a sweet, playful puppy, get in touch with SBRET and ask about Lark! I just love her, even if she is smarter than I am! Lark’s adoption fee is $175.
