Meet Liza Jane! She is approximately 9 weeks old as of October 5th, weighs 5-½ pounds, and is possibly a Dachshund mix but really your guess is as good as mine?! We know she is 100 percent adorable whatever her mix is! She was found in a ditch covered in parasites so her mom and dad are unknown.

Liza Jane is a feisty, go-getter of a puppy who is already going up and down stairs and doesn't let her size prevent her from getting on the couch. She uses her front legs and body to climb onto the couch! She loves, loves, loves to play with toys and chew on puppy bones. She also loves everyone she meets including other small dogs she has met. She wants to play a lot, so any small dogs in her forever home would need to be playful also.

Liza Jane is getting a grade A in using potty pads inside, but still needs to catch onto going potty outside. She loves to romp in the fenced yard so much that she forgets that it is also where she needs to go potty! Liza Jane does well on car rides and hasn't paid much attention to the big kitty cat in her foster home.

Liza Jane's forever home will need to have someone home at least part of the day to continue working on house training and because she's too young to be in a crate all day.

If Liza Jane seems like your kind of pup, fill out an application at sbret.com. She is up to date on vaccinations, as well as heartworm and flea prevention. She will be spayed and microchipped the week of October 8th. Her adoption fee is $175.
