Hi, my name is Millie. I am a 7.1-pound, 5½-month-old (I was born 7/4/19) Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix. My foster parents say I am the sweetest little girl. I like to assess a situation rather than just jump right in. I’m a thinker but once I figure people and things out, I warm up and will be your buddy. Some puppies will give kisses out without even knowing a person, but I’m more frugal with mine and feel you should earn your kisses from me - once you do though, I’m you’re girl forever! I love to play with my toys and run around in the yard with my foster siblings and I love to chew on Nylabones and play with tennis balls. I have my nose to the ground a lot and tend to follow the smells, so a fenced backyard would be best for me. I tend to be very vocal when I’m playing with other dogs and sometimes I like to talk to my people, so an apartment might not be the best place for me. I get along well with other dogs and am good at taking cues from them so I don’t bother them when they don’t want me to. I do well with kitties too. I am very easily corrected with verbal cues. I sleep very well in my crate at night. I had never been outside before coming to SBRET, but my potty training is coming along nicely and I go outside every time my foster parents take me, but I’m still a puppy and sometimes I have accidents in the house. I will need a home where someone is home part of the day to continue my potty training. I am learning to walk on a leash also. Since I am so small, any children in the home must be over 8 years old. I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on flea and heartworm preventive and have all my shots. I would love a home with a playmate and would do best with a fenced yard to run in.
