My name is Minnie. I am a 10-pound, 5-month-old (as of Oct 2) female Chihuahua/Terrier mix. My foster mom says I am a sweet little girl but am a bit timid at first. I need some help learning that the world isn’t a scary place. It takes a few days but I will come out of my shell. I love belly rubs after I learn that I can trust you. I’m just now figuring out that toys are fun and I’ve been trying to get my foster brother to play with me. I am working on my potty training. I like to go outside with my foster siblings and I’m starting to figure it out but I am still learning and will need someone that can keep working with me on my potty training. I don’t mind my crate and it’s actually my safe place right now but I do like to sleep in the people bed at night. I will need somebody at home part of the day to help me become house-trained and an adult home or one with children over 12 years old would be best due to my size and shyness. I have come a long way since being in my foster home but I do need a fenced yard and a patient family to continue working with my socialization. I would not mind having another dog or cat playmate! I am spayed/microchipped and up to date on vaccines, heartworm and flea prevention. My adoption fee is $175. If you think I’m the girl for you, fill out an application at sbret.com.
