Hello. My name is Neva. I am a female Chihuahua, approximately 9 years old and weigh a whopping 5 pounds. My foster mom says I have the most beautiful coat of anyone, and the prettiest little facial expressions. My foster mom also says that I wag my tail so much it's going to fly off!

I was rescued by Animal Rescue Corps from a puppy mill where I lived for my first 9 years but I am trying to put those days behind me. I came to SBRET and now I live with my foster mom & dad and 3 other nice little Chihuahuas. I had luxating patellas ("trick knees") in both of my back legs and had surgery to repair them. I am recovering nicely and enjoy roaming the house and outside in the fenced yard. I do well on a leash but a fenced yard would be nice. I am mostly potty trained for outside, but will use a potty pad indoors MOST of the time. My new home will need to be patient with me as I will probably have some accidents when I transition.

I am a very laid back little girl and would like a quiet adult home and someone home at least part of the day. I am still working on adjusting to living indoors with a family so I will need someone who will be loving and patient while I continue to blossom and flourish. I will let you pick me up and I like to sit quietly on your lap. I will not come to you yet, but just give me time. I stand still when my foster mom wants to pick me up and will let her put my harness and leash on.

I am a good eater and have no health issues. I sleep all night in my bed and don't make a sound at all. I get along with the other dogs in my foster home and in time I think I would love to play. I have always lived with other small dogs so I will need a calm small dog companion in my forever home. I have not been crated in my foster home. My foster mom says I am no trouble at all - I am her little shadow following her around the house.

I am spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, hearworm and flea prevention. Contact SBRET if you think I am the perfect little girl for you! My adoption fee is $100.
