Hello! My name is Patty! I am a 6 year old female Boston Terrier mix and weigh 18 pounds. I am a sweet playful girl that loves to cuddle with you any place you may be. I follow my foster mom all over the house and I come running when she calls my name! I got my name because I was taken into my foster home right around St. Patrick’s Day! As you can see from my photo I dressed up for the holiday this year! I came to SBRET from an animal shelter. When I first came to my foster home I was nervous but with each day I have become more comfortable and much more playful. My housetraining is going well and I am improving each day. I go outside with my foster siblings and they are showing me the ropes. I love to walk on my leash and always run to the door when my foster mom asks if “I want to go outside”. I sleep quietly in my crate all night, but one thing you should know about me is that I am not a morning dog! When my foster mom opens my crate in the morning to take me out I roll over on my back and stretch and take my own sweet time coming out! I just really enjoy my sleep time!

I get along well with the other dogs at my foster home. My foster mom does not have a cat so I’m not sure how I would react to one. I love my meal time! I eat dry food with a little warm water added twice a day. I am a very quiet girl, and I seldom bark. The only time my foster mom has heard me bark is when I hear her coming in from work.

I do have a cataract in my right eye that has diminished my vision in that eye and my left eye has a small cataract. So you will need to have a vet keep a check on my eyes at my yearly exams. My right eye will never be a candidate for surgery but should my left eye get worse I might be able to have surgery on that eye--at the current time the dog ophthalmologist said that eye does not need surgery as the cataract is too small.

I would be best suited for a forever home that has a family member that likes to take walks, I really enjoy the outside. A fenced yard would be wonderful! When I am inside I love to cuddle with my person and watch TV. The sofa is my favorite place and I can jump right up there with no problems. If you would like a happy, bouncy, beautiful girl I am your dog. I have been spayed, microchipped, had a dental cleaning, and am current on all my vaccinations, heartworm and flea prevention. Please contact SBRET if you would like to know more about me. My adoption fee is $175.
