Hi! My name is Pistachio. I am a 13-week-old (as of 3/10/19), 9-pound male Terrier mix. My mom was abandoned at the veterinarian’s office, so the great folks at SBRET brought her into their foster-based rescue so that we would never know the stress of shelter life. I was born on 12/7/18. I am a very happy chunk of a boy. I have an adorable rolling gait that makes my foster mom smile. I love running and playing and really like to play tug. I am a puppy so I need plenty of appropriate things to chew on. I like Nylabones a lot. I get along well with other dogs and am learning that kitties have boundaries. I sleep well with my brother in an indoor ex-pen at night and am good at using the potty pads while I’m in the ex-pen. Outside of the ex-pen I do pretty well but sometimes have accidents. If you take me out regularly I am very good at going to the bathroom outside. I will need my person to be home part of the day to help me with my potty training. Since I am a baby, I will do best in a home with children over 8. I would love a home with another dog to play with and a fenced yard so I can run. I will be neutered and microchipped soon and have the shots I can have for my age, so I will still need a few more. My adoption fee is $175. I can’t wait to find my furever family!
