Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.
Hello there! Spike here! I am a male Chihuahua mix puppy. I am 11 weeks old (as of 4/4/19) and weigh a whopping 2.5 pounds. I love everybody I meet and whenever anybody sees me for the first time they say "He's so cute!" ... because I am! When I first came to rescue, I had Parvo and was very sick. Thankfully SBRET got me the care I needed and truly saved my life! Now that I am all better, I am ready to find my forever home. I potty outside like a big boy but I still have accidents so I need someone who will be home part of the day to help me get this house training thing down. It would also be nice to have a small doggie friend or two to play with me. Since I am small and tend to get under-foot, people in my forever home need to have good balance so they don't trip over me or kick me by accident! Because of my size, I would be best in a home with children over 8 years old. I have been neutered and am current on heartworm and flea prevention as well as vaccines, but I will need to have a few more shots after I get adopted. My adoption fee is $175.
