• Someone home part of the day
• Children over 12 yrs who know to be gentle and would understand he’s visually impaired 
• Fenced yard 

Meet Auggie – Our Sweet, Brave Little Gentleman 🐾

Auggie is a 14.6 lb., 9-year-old Shih Tzu with a heart of gold and the sweetest soul you could ever meet. Though he is blind, we believe there is a possibility he may see shadows because he navigates around the house amazingly well. Once he learns his surroundings, he gets around with confidence and ease.

Auggie is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, has had a dental, and is current on heartworm and flea prevention. He does require one drop of cyclosporine in each eye twice a day, which he tolerates like a champ.

This fantastic boy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has excellent house manners. He travels well in a crate and sleeps peacefully in one at night, though he would also love being close to his person.

Auggie would do best in a loving home that will appreciate his gentle nature and give him the security he deserves. He is proof that being blind doesn’t slow down a loving heart.
