Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.
Bagel needs:
Active adult home, no children under 12
- Active adult home, no children under 12
- Someone home most of the day to continue housetraining
- Someone committed to continued training and exposure to new situations
- Another playful and tolerant dog in the home preferred
- No apartments
- Fenced yard preferred as she loves to be outside but not required
Sweet and savory Bagel is making her debut! Bagel is a female chihuahua mix, 3 months old and 5lbs but growing. Still in the midst of puppyhood, Bagel is fun and full of energy. She is curious, doesn’t miss an opportunity to put anything in her mouth, plays hard and demands the human lap each evening. Bagel is still in her critical learning period and thus it will be pivotal that her new family continue basic training, positive reinforcement and expose her to new situations.
Bagel would do best with another playful and tolerant dog in the house as she loves to play, is constantly following other dogs in the foster home around, jumping on them and cuddling up with them for nap time. She loves to be outside, getting into whatever she can find or just sunbathing.
Bagel is still working on crate training but does well in an expen. She isn’t a great car rider as she gets car sick which is very common for puppies, hopefully she will grow out of it, but some don’t. She is doing well with leash walking and great with house training when given frequent trips outside to potty.
Sweet and affectionate, she will shower you with kisses and loves to cuddle on a lap under a blanket. If you are looking for a sweet, fun and busy puppy and have time and energy to continue positive training and exposure, Bagel might be the one! Bagel is spayed, microchipped, current on preventives. She will need a couple more veterinary visits to finish her vaccination series. Her adoption fee is $175.
