Honey

Adoption Area: East Tennessee

Honey needs:

  • Adult home or home with children over age 8 years of old
  • Someone home part of the day.
  • Active Home – She enjoys playing!

This is Honey, an almost 1-year-old, 18-pound beautiful female Pug. Honey is a sweetheart and will attach to her new family quickly.  She enjoys walks around the neighborhood, but loves a good nap just as much.  Honey does well on a leash and is always ready to explore the outdoors.  She would enjoy another dog companion that likes to play, but would also do well in a home without other dogs if she has adequate human attention and an owner that will keep her active.

Honey is friendly with strangers.  She does bark to alert you of any visitors but her barking is short lived and not loud. She is crate trained.  At night all you will need to say is “Honey, get in your bed, it’s time for bed” and she will walk right into her crate and go to sleep for the night.  The crate will need to be in the room with you because she enjoys knowing you are close by and that she is safe.

Honey is doing exceedingly well with house training and knows how to potty outside in a fenced in yard or on a leash.  Her foster mom and dad take her out frequently and she is doing great!

Honey is a healthy little girl that loves all human affection.  She will make a great pet for a family looking to dote and love on her.  Honey is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and on  flea and heartworm prevention. She had Rhinoplasty surgery to open up her nose to allow her to breathe easier and has recovered well. She is excited to fall in love with her forever family.  Honey’s adoption fee is $175.
