Hi, my name is Jordan. I am a 10ish year old, 13lb, male Shih Tzu Mix. I came to the rescue about a month and half ago and am doing a lot better with my manners and behaviors.

I had some snapping behaviors when I arrived at my foster mom’s home. These were towards her and her personal pup. I have since grown to know that I can trust my surroundings and am safe with these new friends. I will need a forever family who is patient with me as I learn to trust again.  I have adjusted to my foster sister and now we are buddies. Otherwise, I’m a goofy lil man who loves to play and cuddle with my foster mom.

I am doing great with potty training and have basically perfected it. I sleep in a crate while my foster mom is out and am doing a lot better with this (a lot less whining). I do well with car rides and even approach the crate with a wagging tail. I have gotten used to walking on a leash and am doing so much better. I do well at following commands such as come, stay, and no. I have not been observed around children but have had good manners when my foster mom has had visitors. I am a little barky, but tone it down when I hear no.

I was neutered prior to coming to the rescue, but did require a few other procedures when I arrived. I had to have some bad teeth removed and have some cysts on my back assessed. Everything worked out. I still have some cysts, but they do not bother me and are not a concern.

I am neutered, current on my vaccines and preventatives, and micro-chipped. I am excited for the next chapter of my life and cannot wait to find my forever. My adoption fee is $100.
