Medusa needs:
- Someone home most of the day to continue housetraining
- Active adult home with everyone steady on their feet
- Children need to be gentle and at least 7 years of age
- Indoor puppy playpen or gated area to keep me safe when you can’t watch me
- No apartment/condo living (I’m not fully vaccinated)
Hi everyone I’m Medusa, I am 11 weeks old (as of Oct. 5th). I’m a 3.1 pound female Terrier mix (I look like a baby fox). My fur is tri-colored and getting a little scruffy. I have the cutest little stubby tail and white paws that look like booties. Please remember puppies are a lifetime commitment who require a lot of time, patience and training.
I need an active adult home and I am a trip hazard for sure so everyone needs to be sure-footed. Children are required to be gentle and at least 7 years old due to my size. My foster mom takes me outside to potty often so I will need someone home most of the day to continue my housetraining. I spend time in my puppy pen to keep me out of trouble when my foster mom can’t keep an eye on me, I will use pee pads if I need to but like most puppies I shred them so my foster mom says I do better with the washable kind. I have been sleeping/playing with my sibling so I will need a little time to adjust to him not being close by. I have been introduced to a crate where I hang out sometimes. I haven’t been introduced to a collar or harness /leash just yet so we will need to work on that first thing. I do ride well crated in the car but I have to stay close to home until all my puppy vaccines are complete.
Also because I’m not fully vaccinated due to my age, I can’t go to any public/common areas so no apartment or condo living for me. My new family will be responsible to take me for my 3rd round of vaccines which are due between Oct. 13-18 and final round 3 weeks after that. Rabies vaccine due when I am 16 weeks old. I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my preventions.
