Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.
Toby Bean needs:
- Active adult home with everyone steady on their feet and any children need to be at heart 8 years old
- Someone home during the day to continue my housetraining and socialization
Toby Bean is a 19 week old, 8 pound male Maltese mix. He has white shaggy hair, a beautiful button black nose, and a bit of an overbite. He is a playful, energetic pup, who loves to follow his foster mom everywhere. He’s not trying to trip her, but let’s just say she has to dance to get around him sometimes. He is very smart and loves to show off his fetching and “sit” skills.
He goes outside to potty with regular trips out (every 2 hours or so) and will use a pee pad if you miss taking him outside. But he is working hard on his outside potty skills. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night, and when his foster mom has to run an errand. (The crate keeps him safe and out of trouble.) Because he’s a puppy, he loves to experiment with chewing fun things. His new home will need to be puppy proofed and he’ll need supervision when he’s roaming around. Like all puppies, he’ll need lots of playtime, lots of walks/outside time, and lots of cuddles. He’ll also need regular professional grooming, and brushing at home, to keep his glorious hair in shape. He would love to have a kitty or puppy playmate, but would be okay as an only dog with lots of attention and exercise. He is great with older, gentle kids, cats, and other dogs.
Toby is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. His adoption fee is $175.
