Meet Atlas, a 2-year-old, 12-pound male Chihuahua mix looking for his forever person. He came to rescue because his family was unable to care for him any longer. Atlas is a very handsome brindle color with soft brown eyes. He is an absolute snuggle bug and wants to be with/near/on his person. He is neutered, potty=trained, crate=trained, walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides, is fine with other dogs and overall an amazingly perfect super low-maintenance little guy. We are working on barking less at noises/people - he is super responsive to training and already mastered sit but stay is still a work in progress. Atlas doesn’t seem very interested in toys although a squeaky ball does excite him, his preference is your lap or at your feet. Since Atlas loves to be so close to his humans, everyone in the home needs to be very steady on their feet!
Atlas is neutered, current on his vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative. Atlas’ adoption fee is $175.
