Hi, everyone! My name is Brownie. I am pretty laid back for a 7-pound 5-year-old male Chihuahua mix. I came into my amazing foster home through SBRET, who rescued me from the shelter. I am a very sweet and mellow boy. I get along with the other female dogs in my foster family, but I really like having attention to myself so I would do best as an only dog in my new home. I would not do well in an apartment because I do have a tendency to bark at things that go bump in the night.
For sleeping arrangements, I enjoy sleeping in my crate but I would love to be in the big bed. I am fine with sleeping in my crate, and I don’t whine but I would be really thrilled to sleep in the big bed instead. When you must leave, I can be left out on my own because I am mellow and I am not destructive but I will bark. I am doing well with my potty training, but I am still learning not to mark in the house because I just got neutered. So when I get adopted I will be sure to come with a belly band to help me transition to a new place. I do walk great on a leash and harness. I travel well in a car. I have had a couple seizures and I’m now on medication to control those.
I would really love a chance to love you. I am so cute you could just eat me up - that’s why my foster mom says my name is Brownie! I am neutered, microchipped, had a dental, current on vaccines and I’m on heartworm and flea preventative. My adoption fee is $175.
