Hi my name is Isla (pronounced eye-la). I’m 10 weeks old and weigh 3½ pounds (as of 9/10/21) and am a female Yorkie mix. My foster mom says the mix is absolute cuteness - SBRET didn’t get to meet my parents. I’m a very independent little girl – I’m not afraid of anything so my foster mom keeps a real close eye on me whenever I get to roam the house or yard. I like to play ball and tug o’ war with the other dogs in my foster home – I don’t give up until I win. When I came to SBRET I had fleas pretty bad, but after treatment and soothing oatmeal baths I feel so much better and the hair I had lost is growing back quickly. I will stay in my crate when you can’t keep an eye on me. My foster mom takes me out to potty quite often and I’m doing really great for a puppy my age. Sometimes during the night I whine and after my foster mom takes me out to potty I go right back to sleep. I ride crated in the car for my safety and sometimes it takes a few minutes for me to settle down. Because of my size I need an adult home or with children over 8 years of age. I’m not fully vaccinated so no apartment living for me.
I’m up to date on my flea and heartworm prevention. I started my puppy vaccines- I will need my next round in 3 weeks and again 6 weeks from now. It’s very important that you do this for me so I stay safe. If you have the perfect home for an adorable, lovable and playful little bundle then I’m your girl. My adoption fee is $175.
