Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.
Adoption Area: East Tennessee
Mayhem needs:
Adult (steady footed) home with someone home part of the day
Children need to be very gentle and at least 10 years of age due to my size
Someone home most of the day to continue her potty training
No apartment or condo living for me (I’m not fully vaccinated)
My name is Mayhem but you can call me “Hemi” – I’m wanting to relocate to my forever home in the East Tennessee area. I’m an adorable little 4-pound male Terrier/ Chihuahua mix.
I’m 12 weeks old (as of May 18th). My fur is black with a few spots of white. I have a cute little curly tail and a huge personality for my size. It looks like my fur on my face is starting to get a little scruffy so we will have to wait and see. Sometimes I bark at the bigger dogs in my foster home and I would do better with a smaller dog to play with. I do get under foot so I need an adult home with everyone steady on their feet so no one gets hurt. Also children need to be gentle, calm and at least 10 years old because of my size. I love when my foster mom takes me out to the fenced yard to potty and play. We have started working on housetraining and I will need someone home part of the day to continue with that. No apartment or condo living since I’m not fully vaccinated yet - it’s not safe for me to be in common areas. We are also working on crate training. In my special indoor play area my crate is there with the door open so I can get used to it. I sleep all night with my little sister for now so it’s going to take a little time to adjust in my new home. I ride crated in the car to keep me safe and I usually whine for a few minutes and then I nap. My foster mom puts my collar on me for short periods of time - it feels strange but I’ll get used to it as I grow. Please remember puppies like me are a huge responsibility and a lifetime commitment. I will be neutered and microchipped on Monday May 6th and available for adoption a few days later. I’m up to date on my flea/heartworm preventions. You will be responsible to make sure I get the rest of my vaccines when they are due so I stay healthy. If you have the kind of forever home I’m looking for, contact my friends at SBRET.COM get your application approved and we can cuddle real soon. My adoption fee is $175.
