Miss Nala is a feisty, stubborn, petite 6-year-old, 11-pound female Bichon Frise looking for a partner specializing in shenanigans. She is a car-riding professional, potty trained, needs to have someone home part of the day and to be on a daily walk schedule. Children over 12 in the home would be ok. Her background wasn't the best and she would enjoy a furbuddy to help her continue to blossom and she does enjoy romping and playing with other dogs. Nala sleeps on the couch at night without making a peep. Prior to coming to rescue she did not receive a lot of human attention and can still be a little head shy. Sometimes Nala prefers to go off on her own with her big teddy bear that she takes around with her and she loves jumping into a laundry basket. She will probably do best with someone who has some dog experience since she has some catching up to do. Nala has never shown any aggression.
She will require regular professional grooming every 4 to 6 weeks and she was a little dramatic about being groomed. Again not aggressive but was not the most cooperative client!
Nala has had successful bladder stone removal surgery and is currently doing well. We are waiting on analysis of the removed stone to know whether she will need to be on prescription dog food. She does have a kidney stone that should not cause her any issues.
She is microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, spayed and current on flea and heartworm prevention. If you think you would be interested in Miss Nala, submit an application and let's talk more about this sweet furgirl. Adoption fee is $175.
