Phoenix's Requirements: Hey everyone, this sweet little girl is Phoenix. Phoenix is a 9-week-old, 5.5 lb Poodle mix. She doesn't look much like her Poodle mix mom, so we're guessing she is a daddy's girl. She will probably be about 20 pounds as an adult — just a guess! Phoenix is very sweet and friendly to everyone she meets, but she is a little bit shy, and a little bit anxious. She is not one to jump right in the middle of an unknown situation. She likes being held and comforted, and will snuggle up into you until she feels safe. Some puppies are just not as fearless as others, and she is one of those puppies. But, once she feels comfortable, she is very playful and would be perfect for an active household, or one with another friendly, playful dog. She would not do well being left alone for long periods of time, so she is looking for someone who is home during the day. As with most puppies, she would not do well with small children because she is teething, and will continue to do so until she loses her sharp puppy teeth at about 4 months.

Phoenix sleeps quietly all night in an indoor expen with her siblings. She's doing well with her potty training. She knows to run to the back door as soon as the door to the pen opens, or she will use potty pads in the house if we are not outside. But, she is a puppy, and still has plenty of accidents, so the potty training is a work in progress. How much longer it will take before she's fully potty trained is up to you. All depends on how much time you spend with her and how hard you work on it. But she's a smart little girl, and with patience and consistency, I bet you she figures out the whole potty training thing in no time at all!

She's a good little eater who eats dry kibble which makes feeding time easy.

So if you think she would be a good match for you, and you for her, and you have the time and patience to nurture this sweet puppy into the active and playful dog she will become, you can find an application at SBRET.com. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her shots. Her adoption fee is $175.
