Rosco needs:

Active (steady-footed) Adult home or with children at least 10 years old
No apartment or condo living (I can’t be in common areas until I’m fully vaccinated)
My name is Rosco. I’m an adorable 13-week-old (as of 7/25) 4-pound, Tri- colored Male Chihuahua mix puppy. I have short little legs with freckles on my paws and my foster mom calls me Shorty sometimes. Puppies like me need a lot of attention and training so be prepared for that.
My foster mom tells me I’m very smart and a very good listener for such a young pup. I’m already learning to sit for a treat.
I’m doing well with my house training as long as someone takes me out often to potty.
I need someone home most of the day so I continue to improve my potty skills but that’s not the only reason. The most important thing to me is being close to my person(s).
I also need another small playful dog to hang out with and keep me busy. I get underfoot so everyone needs to be steady on their feet and children need to be at least 10 years old because of my size. My foster mom crates me when she leaves the house and watches me on a camera. I nap for a while but after 2 hours I get very upset. At night I sleep in my crate next to my foster mom’s bed – she talks to me so I know she’s close by. I usually wake once in the middle of the night and after I’m taken out to potty I sleep quietly until morning. I ride well in the car crated to keep me safe.
I have gotten used to wearing my collar. I have been introduced to wearing a harness and soon will be learning to walk on a leash which my new family will need to continue. I have had my age appropriate vaccines- I will need my 3rd booster the week of Aug. 7th and 3 weeks later my 4th booster and rabies vaccine to complete my puppy shots -- my new family will be responsible for making sure that I get them. Until then I need to stay close to home so I stay healthy and safe. I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on my flea/heartworm preventions.
If you have a loving home and the time it takes to train a lovable young pup like me, contact my friends at SBRET.COM and be sure to ask for Rosco then get your application approved. I will be giving you lots of kisses real soon. My adoption fee is $175.
