Meet Stanley! Stanley is a handsome male Dachshund mix who weighs 8 pounds and is about 10 years old. This little guy wants to be your best friend. He loves snuggling under blankets, sitting on laps, and especially eating! He may be missing a few teeth, but it doesn’t slow him down. He’d be happiest with someone who is home a lot for maximum cuddle time. He walks well on a leash. He’s a very smart boy…..he taught himself how to use a doggie door by watching his foster siblings in only one day! He has a mild case of collapsing trachea that causes an occasional cough; it doesn’t seem to bother him much. He’s just a happy little guy!
Stanley enjoys going for car rides, short walks, and cuddling on the couch watching Netflix — what an awesome little guy!
Stanley is doing well with his house training. Remember he may need some patience with transition to a new home and we will send a belly band along with him to use during this transition.
