I’m Brandi, a 2-year-old 14.4-pound female Chihuahua mix. Mixed with what? Your guess is as good as any! So I don’t have a pedigree, but I do have a wagging, curly tail and adorable head tilt! I came to Small Breed Rescue because my elderly owner couldn’t keep up with my activity, so I need an active owner who enjoys walks, hikes and trips around town.
FETCH is my game — so I’d love a fenced yard but I can also play fetch in the house. I don’t need a fenced yard if someone is active and willing to take me for long walks and play fetch with me in the house. I walk well on a leash, but practice makes perfect so let’s go for a hike! In the car, I ride quietly in the back and I’m not even a backseat driver! I enjoy meeting new people and other dogs. While I can be initially shy, I get over it pretty quick. A crate is my safe place when you are gone and I don’t mind spending nights there either. Just make sure I have a blanket to snuggle in. Even tho I might whine when I want attention and play, if you are busy I’ll toss the toy to myself. I’m working hard on my potty training skills, which is going well as long as you take me out on a schedule. I have been introduced to neighborhood children and I seem to enjoy them!
