Hi, my name is Grace. I’m a female, about 2 years old and 9 pounds. My breed is up for debate but my foster mom thinks that I’m part Dachshund and part Maltese. Whatever it is, it is all cuteness! I’ve been moved around a lot in my 2 short years and I would love to find a home to settle down and be comfortable in. I was so scared for the first couple of days in my foster home but I’m adjusting and I’m getting along with the other dogs here. I’d like to have all the laps to myself though and sometimes I growl because I want to be the only one on my human’s lap. I need to be reminded that I have to share. I’m working hard on my potty training but I have a lot to learn. Foster mom thinks I’ve not been taught that pottying in the house is wrong and that outside is best! I love walks and car rides and my favorite thing is being where my person is. I will do best in a home where someone is there to help me with my house training with lots of positive reinforcement. Children in the home need to be calm and patient and probably over eight years old as I get scared easily. I am ready to get settled into my forever home that will love me always! I have been spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, heartworm and flea prevention. My adoption fee is $175.
