Adoption Area: East Tennessee

Tootsie needs: Hello my name is Tootsie. I’m 11 weeks old as of Feb. 3rd. I’m a fluffy Tri-colored 8-pound female Terrier mix with lots of spunk and attitude. My foster mom will suggest puppy classes for me because I tend to be very stubborn and sometimes I have a little temper tantrum. When I get that way my foster mom distracts me until I settle down. I need to live in an active adult home or one with children at least 12 years of age who understand how to deal with my attitude and rough play. I’m not fully vaccinated and cannot live in an apartment or condo – to keep me healthy no paws on the ground in common areas until 10 days after I complete my vaccines. My foster mom has been working on my housetraining and of course I’d rather play than potty so you will need to be home part of the day to continue working on my potty skills. You will need to help me get used to walking on a leash/harness as I haven’t had much practice. My foster mom crates me (to keep me safe) in the car if we go for a ride and I do very well. During the day when my foster mom is busy around the house I’m in a play area with my sibling and we have everything we need including lots of chew toys to keep us busy and pee pads of course. I’m starting the whole crate training thing and the last few nights I have done really well. My routine is a work in progress and I will need you to be willing to be patient and teach me what I need to learn so I can be the best that I can be.

I am up to date on flea/heartworm preventions and my age-appropriate vaccines. I’m also spayed and microchipped. My adoption fee is $175. If you have the time and energy for a busy/stubborn little girl like me, contact my friends @ SBRET.COM, get your application approved, and I’ll see you in time for Valentine’s Day.

Love,
Sweet Tootsie Roll
