Jojo needs:
- Active, sure-footed family with children over 10 (I like to stay close)
- No apartments, I cry very loudly when left alone
- A fenced yard to run and play in
- Someone home part of the day
- A small, tolerant canine friend would be nice but is not absolutely necessary
Hi there! JoJo’s my name, No No’s my game. I am a handsome 11-pound male Terrier mix. I am about 10 months old, and that is the only reason that I hear “no-no” a lot. Other than my youthful demeanor, I am practically perfect.
I am sweet and affectionate. I have lots of energy and just love to run fast and explore my environment. I am exceptionally friendly with other dogs and would very much like to have a canine friend who could show me the ropes and run and play with me. Once I have been properly introduced, I like most people that I meet. I’m not sure that very young children would understand that my nippy rambunctious behavior is a sign of affection, so I would probably do better with children over 10.
I’m still a very young boy, so most of my behaviors that might be a little aggravating to you are a temporary thing that I will outgrow. My potty training has gone very well, and I am trying my best to walk on a leash. I’m a fast learner, I just need more practice.
I find the items in the recycle bin most interesting and like to carry them around the house. Yeah, it’s a puppy thing. I’ve been pretty rough on paper towels, but have been very gentle with stuffies, slippers, and the things I’ve found in the laundry basket. I’m still learning what is okay to play with and what is a big No-No.
Crate training did not going as well as my foster family would have liked, and I cried my way into sleeping in the big people bed. With time and patience, I think I would learn to sleep in my own bed.
I really need to live with people who can help me with my social skills so that I can be the perfect dog I am meant to be. I have been to the vet, where I was proclaimed a very good boy. I have been neutered and microchipped. I am up to date on all my vaccinations as well as flea, tick, and heartworm preventive. My adoption fee is $175.
