Polly Pocket

Adoption Area: East Tennessee

Polly Pocket needs:

  • Active adult only home with someone home part of the day
  • No apartments
  • Secure fenced yard
  • Small, playful dog buddy

Welcome Polly Pocket to rescue! Her history is in the rearview mirror but she has had a rough time in her short life coming from a home with over 70 dogs.  Weighing in at a petite 4.8lbs this 2 year old Chihuahua mix girl is needing a family to call her own.

She will need a secure fenced in yard  to run and chase her ball or lay in the sun. Her vocal skills are amazing so living in an apartment or condo is out of the equation. She is a clingy girl and likes to sleep with her person. Polly is not fond of a crate. Children are a mystery to her and she is scared of them so no children in the home. She is pee pad trained which is great because she is convinced that rain is acid. Did you notice her bald ears and hair loss around her eyes? She probably has dilute alopecia based on her coloring and that hair more than likely won’t come back in.

She doesn’t require medication and is  a unique and adorable fur girl. Leash training is ongoing because she prefers to be carried and car rides can be scary at the start of the journey but she settles in quickly in her carrier. Please submit an application and let’s chat. Her adoption fee is $175.
