Candy is a tiny sweetheart with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. At 10 years young and a dainty 5 pounds, this Chihuahua mix is proof that the best things truly do come in small packages.
Through no fault of her own, Candy has found her way back to rescue; but she hasn’t let that dim her gentle spirit. She’s a quiet, easygoing girl who’s happiest right by your side—preferably curled up in your lap or tucked in close for a cozy nap. If you’re looking for a devoted companion, Candy is ready to be your little shadow.
Her needs are wonderfully simple: a warm lap, a sunny spot to lounge, and a safe place to take her potty breaks. She enjoys short strolls around the neighborhood where she can take in the sights at her own relaxed pace. At home, she’s calm, well-mannered, and fully house trained.
Candy is in great health and has been lovingly cared for—she’s spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.
She would do best in a peaceful home with gentle children over 8 and could happily coexist with another calm, small senior dog. What she doesn’t need is a busy, high-energy environment—this little lady prefers the quiet life.
