Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.
Chick-A-Dee needs:
- No apartments or condo living (no paws on the ground in public areas)
- Someone home most of the day to continue housetraining
- Children 7 or older and gentle
- All family members must be steady on their feet
My name is Chick-A-Dee (aka Chicki). I’m a black and tan 9 week old female Chihuahua mix. I weigh 4.6 pounds as of 4/27/26. My foster mom has started taking me outside to potty even when it’s raining. I’m doing well and will need someone home most of the day so that continues. I need an active adult home, puppies get under foot so everyone needs to be sure footed so no one gets hurt. Children in my new home need to be gentle and at least 7 years of age. I hang out in an indoor play area when my foster mom gets busy around the house or needs to run errands. You will need to have either an area like that or an indoor puppy pen to keep me safe and out of trouble.
I have had 2 rounds of puppy vaccines. My new family will be responsible for my 3rd round which is due May 21st and 4th round 3 weeks later. Rabies vaccine will be due at 16 weeks. I need your help with a lot of things including wearing my collar/tags and harness as they take a little time to get use to. I have been hanging out with my sister so I will need a little time to adjust to her not being with me. Please be ready to spend a lot of your time and energy helping me learn all the things I need to so I grow up to be the best dog ever.
I was born with my right eye a bit smaller than my left eye but I see out of it just fine. I’m up to date on my flea/heartworm preventions, spayed, microchipped and current on age appropriate vaccines. My adoption fee is $175. Love you already, Chicki
