Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.

Harvey needs:

• Active adult home (everyone sure-footed)
• Children must be gentle and at least 5 years of age 
• Someone home most of the day to continue house training 
• An indoor puppy pen or gated area to keep him safe.
• Professional Grooming every 4-6 weeks 
• No condo or apartment living (he is not fully vaccinated)
• Another playful young dog living in the home

My name is Harvey, I am a 14 week old (DOB 4/28/26) 8.5 pound Male poodle mix (probably with Cocker Spaniel). I have beautiful soft brown fur with a patch of white on my chest and chin. Please know  puppies need a lot your time and patience. I need an active adult home with everyone steady on their feet as puppies are a trip hazard so we need to keep everyone safe.

Children need to be gentle and at least 5 years of age. I need an indoor gated play area or puppy playpen for the daytime when you can’t keep both eyes on me. I only like to be in my wire crate at night – I sleep in my foster mom’s room and she covers it to help me feel safe. I wake very early in the morning and my foster mom takes me out to potty and most times puts me back in my crate, and I sleep until the other dogs are ready to start the day. I started my vaccines late and need to get caught up — until then I can not be in any public or common areas. That means I cannot live in a condo or apartment. Also no walks on the road even though I walk well on a leash/harness I need to stay very close to the house. I need to be brushed every few days and professionally groomed on a regular basis so please plan on that expense.

I’m doing really well with my housetraining but I need someone home most of the day to continue taking me out on a regular routine. I do ride well crated in the car to keep me safe. For a very short time I lived with 2 kittens and did ok. I am very playful and really need another playful dog living in my new home. We are working on getting my puppy vaccines back on schedule and will need a couple more rounds that my new family will be responsible for. I will need a Rabies vaccine in a few weeks also. I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on my flea/heartworm preventions. My adoption fee is $175.
