Hi everyone, I’m Mugsly a 1 year old, 13 pound, male Lhasa Apso mix. My coat had to be shaved short due to being very matted. When my fur has grown back it will be soft & a beautiful tri color. I will be needing to be Professionally groomed routinely so I don’t end up that way ever again. I’m a lot of fun and very entertaining – still very much a puppy for sure. I need a very active adult home everyone steady on their feet, and children need to be at least 10 years of age. You need to be on the look out for my excited self since I’m very strong for my size and can get underfoot and run between your legs. We don’t want anyone to end up on the ground. I am a very active boy and my family needs to be also. A secure fenced yard is something that I really need to burn off some of my crazy energy. My foster mom discovered the more comfortable I get in my home the more energy I have. Professional training would be great for me to become the best I can be.
I still need a little work on my leash/harness training. My housetraining is going really well — I potty every time my foster mom takes me out to the yard and I will use pee pads in an emergency. I get along with the dogs in my foster home but cats would probably not like me much. I’m learning it’s rude to get in the other dogs’ faces – they growl at me and I move on. I just started playing with toys/balls and will be playing fetch real soon. No apartment or condo living for me as there are times I get barky and we don’t want to upset the neighbors. During the day if my foster mom has to leave the house for a few hours I have an indoor gated area (with everything I need) where I hang out but sometimes I get barky. At night I sleep in my covered crate next to my foster mom’s bed; but sometimes if I hear a noise, I will wake up and my foster mom takes me out to potty then back to bed until morning. Hopefully as I get older I will be less vocal. I ride well crated in the car to keep me safe.
I am up to date on my vaccines and flea/heartworm preventions and am also neutered and microchipped. I would love to go on adventures with you. If you have the kind of home I need, contact my friends at SBRET.COM and get your online application approved and we can meet up real soon. My adoption fee is $175.
