Angus

Adoption Area: East Tennessee

Angus needs:

  • Professional grooming on a regular basis
  • Active adult home with children over 10
  • No apartments or condos
  • Fenced yard
  • Someone home most of the time

Angus is a 4 to 5-year-old male Yorkie mix who is currently 14 lbs.  He is working on slimming down a bit, so an active home with regular playtime and walks is important.  He loves being outside in the sun and playing with another dog.  Angus would be a runner if given the chance so a secure fenced back yard is a must. Though he would probably be fine as an only dog, Angus does enjoy having another dog around.  He has not been cat tested.

He listens when he is told “no” and is very eager to please. Angus is very affectionate and loves to be next to his people on the couch and will lean into you to get attention.

He is great with car rides, whether he is in a crate or a dog car seat.  He settles down immediately and just enjoys the ride!

Angus is currently being housetrained and is making progress.  It is important that he be taken outside every couple of hours.  He currently sleeps all night in a playpen and has not had any accidents during the night.  Angus does bark occasionally when people come to the front door or if he hears weird sounds.  He is a great little watch dog.

Angus is neutered, microchipped, up to date with all of his vaccines along with monthly heartworm, flea and tick preventions. He will have a dental on 9/16. His adoption fee is $175.
