Bean

Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.

Bean needs:

  • Active Adult home and everyone steady on their feet
  • Someone home most of the day to continue housetraining
  • Children must be Gentle & at least 12 years old (because of my size)
  • Indoor puppy pen or or gated play area when you can’t keep both eyes on me
  • I must have a young small playful dog to keep me busy
  • No apartment/Condo living (I’m not fully vaccinated)

Bean here (aka Beanie Baby) — I’m a 12 week old, 3.7 pound (as of Feb.19) female Chihuahua mix. My fur is tri-colored and getting a little scruffy on my face. Please remember puppies are a lifetime commitment. I know I’m cute and cuddly; but be aware, I require a lot of training, patience and hard work. I need an active adult home — puppies are a tripping  hazard so everyone needs to be steady on their feet. I’m very tiny so children must be gentle and at least 12 years of age.

My foster mom promised to make sure there is a small playful dog living in my forever home — I really enjoy playing with the other small dogs in my foster home. Now let’s get to the good stuff. I have been snuggled up with a couple of my siblings at night and I will need a little time to adjust to not being in a puppy pile.

I have been working on my housetraining and I have made the connection to potty outside even though the weather isn’t always ideal. I will use pee pads if I need to – washable pads work the best. I need practice wearing my collar/harness and walking on a leash. I have been introduced to being in a crate for short periods of time. My foster mom has an indoor play area with everything I need to keep me safe and out of trouble when she is busy around the house or needs to run a few errands. I ride crated in the car to keep me safe, and I usually just nap under a blanket. After I’m fully vaccinated I would love to meet new people and other pups until then I have to stay close to home. I still need two more sets of puppy vaccines my next appointment is on Feb. 26th and my (4th) final will be due 3-4 weeks after that. At 16 weeks I will be old enough to get my Rabies vaccine.

I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on my preventions. My adoption fee is $175.

If you have all the things I want & need, contact my friends at SBRET.COM; and get your online application approved so we can get to work on all the training to help me be the best little pup ever. Kisses, Little Bean
