Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.
Before you fall in love with my adorable face, please remember that I will have some specific needs in my forever home. I need a secure fenced yard, someone with lots of patience and time during the day to help me with my housetraining and socialization, an adult dog-experienced home. Thank you for reading!
Blue Iris needs:
- Someone home during the day to continue her potty training;
- Active adult home and no children under the age of eight due to her small size
- No apartments
Puppy breath, puppy nuzzles, puppy kisses and puppy silliness! You want it, we got it!
This beautiful girl is Blue Iris. She is a 9-week-old, 4 lb. Corgi mix. Mama came in pregnant so we know all about her, but we don’t have any idea who Dad is. We were told possibly a Schnauzer but we have no way of knowing for sure. Mama is 19 lbs.
Blue Iris is a sweet, gentle, laid back little girl. She loves a good snuggle and is so happy just to be in your arms. When the rough housing with her siblings gets too much, she will take herself out of the mix and find a fluffy bed to lay in and watch the action from there. She is the quietest and the shyest of the litter. But she is still a puppy, so she will be looking for an owner to help her burn off some of her puppy energy, and who is willing to get her some basic training so she grows into a nice little dog. She has been with SBRET since birth so she’s off to a good start.
Mama has the sweetest disposition and her puppies are just as sweet. She does well with her house training on the potty pads, but she still has plenty of accidents so it will be up to you to continue her potty training. Her coat is a little more scruffy, and a little less fluffy than her mama. She’s a good little eater and likes her dry kibble. She sleeps all night with her siblings in a puppy pen and gets along well with the other dogs in the house, although she would probably not do well with a larger high energy dog. And remember that puppies are a long-term commitment, so make sure you are in it for the long run!
Blue Iris is one of those puppies that you just want to pick up and never put down, and that’s okay with her. So if you are able to offer her long-term parking on your lap and lots of exercise and playtime, fill out an application for her at SBRET.com!
She is up to date on her puppy shots and has been spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $175
