Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.
Butterball needs:
- Active home, children over 5 years old
- Someone home part of the day to continue puppy training
- Everyone steady on their feet, I am small and tend to get underfoot
- No apartments as I am not yet fully vaccinated
Butterball is making his debut! Butterball is a 9 week old (as of January 29th) male puppy around 7lbs. He is the big chunk out of his 9 siblings and loves to eat. His mom is a chihuahua mix, dad is unknown. He has beautiful markings on his face, some wild terrier hairs that will make you laugh and eyes that will melt your heart. Butterball is a typical fun and curious puppy; loves to play, explore, and see what he can get into. He will expect a warm lap to cuddle in when you sit down to relax and loves attention. He is a little timid at times and may need time to warm up in new situations.
Butterball is doing well with house training but will need continued work in his new home. He sleeps through the night in a puppy expen with his sister so he may need time to adjust to his own crate without another dog. Because he is still in his critical learning period it will be important for his new family to be committed to continuing socialization; exposing him to new situations and experiences, safely since not full vaccinated. In addition, he will need training with walking on a leash.
If you are ready to commit to a fun and loving puppy, Butterball may be the one! Butterball is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and is scheduled to be neutered on February 5th. He will be ready to go to his new home a few days after. Adoption fee is $175
