Puppies less than 16 weeks old cannot be placed in apartment complexes as they cannot go out in communal areas until about 10 days after their last vaccine at 16 weeks.
Buzz needs:
- Someone home most of the day to continue housetraining
- Active adult home with everyone sure-footed
- Children need to be gentle and over 5 years old
- Indoor gated play area or expen to keep me out of trouble
- No apartment or condo living (No paws on the ground in common/ public areas as not fully vaccinated)
My name is Buzz, I’m a tan/black scruffy male Pug/Terrier mix. I have the cutest bushy eyebrows and curly tail. I weigh in right at 5 pounds and was born on April 29 and will be 9 weeks old on July 1st. On that day I will get neutered/microchipped so by the weekend I will have my bags packed and ready for my forever home.
I need an active adult home where everyone is steady on their feet because I can be a trip hazard. Children need to be gentle and over 5 years of age. Someone will need to be home most of the day to continue my housetraining. My foster mom takes me out to potty very often and I have made the potty/grass connection. I’m very young so it will take some time until I’m completely housetrained. I like the other dogs in my foster home, but the senior dogs think I’m a real pain even though I just want to play. Puppies as young as me usually do ok with cats if they like having a puppy in the home. I need an indoor gated play area or an expen to keep me safe for the time you need to run errands or get busy around the house. I have been introduced to a crate and it would be recommended for me to sleep there at night. I’m working on wearing my collar/tags and harness but haven’t walked on a leash just yet. I do fine in the car crated and usually take a nap until we get to where we are going.
Puppies are a lot of hard work/training and a lifetime commitment. I need you to keep me close to home until my puppy vaccines are completed. I have an appointment July 8th for my 2nd vaccine, 3rd round is due 3-4 weeks, and the 4th round and Rabies vaccines due when I’m 16 weeks old.
