Meet Cindy – Sweet Senior Shih Tzu Looking for Her Perfect Retirement Home
Cindy is an adorable 11-year-old Shih Tzu weighing just 8.7 pounds, and she’s ready to find a loving retirement home where she can spend her golden years being cherished. She’s currently on the thin side and would benefit from gaining a little weight, but she has a great appetite and is well on her way with proper care and love.
Cindy is incredibly friendly, gentle, and affectionate. She loves being around her people and would be happiest in a home where someone is present for part of the day. She’s gets along with other dogs but would be alright as on only dog. She has good house manners if let out frequently and sleeps quietly in her crate at night, although she would much prefer curling up beside her human if given the chance.
She travels very well in the car, making her a wonderful companion for errands or trips. Cindy would do best in a home with a fenced yard and children over 12 years of age who understand how to be gentle with a small senior dog.
Cindy is fully vetted — she is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, has had a recent dental, and is current on heartworm and flea prevention.
This loving little girl has so much companionship and devotion to give. All she needs now is a safe, comfortable home and someone to love her forever.
